Two kinds of visits

Most families see us for one or both. Medical exams go through your insurance; elective sessions are paid at the visit.

Medical OB ultrasound

A diagnostic exam your provider orders, often around 20 weeks, to check the baby’s growth, anatomy and due date.

  • Requires an order from your doctor (midwives have one on file)
  • Interpreted by a radiologist
  • Billed to your insurance as a courtesy
