Accuracy
Your session is performed by a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with extensive training in determining gender. We confirm it from two different views before telling you.
Non-medical ultrasound businesses aren’t required to hire staff with medical education or experience, because they don’t offer diagnostic testing. That can make their results less reliable, and they often cost more.
When to come in
Gender is usually accurate as early as 16 weeks. Facial details are easier to see after 25 weeks, and 3D/4D sessions get the best facial images between 28 and 36 weeks. It’s fun to watch the baby move and react at each stage.
An elective session doesn’t replace the medical ultrasound your provider orders, usually done around 20 weeks to confirm dating and check the baby’s health.
